Bob Britt of Atlantic Customs began painting cars over 10 years ago. The first car he painted was his 1971 Monte Carlo. This was not a touch up job but a complete body and paint job with a custom mix green gold pearl paint. It rolled out of the paint booth, trim installed and took first place in the car show. Over these past 10 years Bob and his works have received national recognition. He has been honored with outstanding achievement awards to fit and finish awards to magazine notations. "I don't do this stuff for awards, I do it for personal satisfaction. I have seen the worst paint jobs win awards due to they were the only entry in their class. Awards are ten dollar dust collectors to me. Built what you like, not what other people like."

Bob learned his skills in a small body shop in Maynard Massachusetts. Working one on one with the owner Bob was taught old and new methods to shape metal, bodywork, weld and paint. In 1995 Bob left shop to obtain a marketing degree. Upon completion he worked for a few companies, but his focus was elsewhere.

In 2000 Bob went back to his passion and established Atlantic Customs in a bay at N.S.B. Auto body, where he learned his skills. After a year past Bob teamed up with a childhood friend, Jesse from Jesses Custom Design. It was then Atlantic Customs and Jesse's Custom Design became leaders in the custom pain industry.

Atlantic Customs uses the latest in paint technology and equipment with proven method for old school to new. They stay ahead with new trends in style and paint.
